Library Week & READ Poster Contest Winner

Congratulations to Megg Pitt, the winner of our second annual READ poster contest! It is being unveiled this week as a celebration of National Library Week.

Library Display: Graduating Student Assistants

In the display on the main floor of the Snowden Library, the staff shows appreciation for our five graduating student assistants: Gwyneth Bertelson, Ashley Clees, Stuart Kuentzel, Mark Masland, and William Reed. The display features a READ poster, photos, biographies and memorabilia celebrating their college careers. The books that each student selected to be dedicated in their name for the library's collection are also included.

Archives Display: College Mace

The display for the College Archives on the main floor of the Snowden Library highlights the story of our Lycoming College mace. Presented to the college by the graduating class of 1963, the mace is carried at all official academic functions as a symbol of academic authority. Included is a list of all faculty mace bearers throughout the years, along with photographs of those faculty fulfilling this prestigious honor.
